This morning Gabi was a bit reluctant to do our drawing activity, however she took part with her friends and finished her drawing! When asked where she thought the eggs were from Gabi said ‘the North Pole and it’s so cold there’ she could then tell me what she had drawn with some encouragement and made sure she wrote her name all by herself. After this Gabi used her phonics and could tell me initial sounds and segment CVC words independently. Gabi’s next step is to match those sounds with letters and write these next to her pictures eg dog...write the letter d to match the d sound. Great job Gabs!
